Voraussetzungen

Um einen GWÖ-Account zu beantragen, müssen diese wenn folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllt seinsind:

(warning) GWÖ-Accounts werden nur an natürliche Personen vergeben.
Wenn Du z.B. eine Mitgliedschaft mit Deinem EPU und privat eine weitere Mitgliedschaft als natürliche Person hast, kann nur die letztere einen GWÖ-Account erhalten.

(warning) Bitte beachten: Die Unterlagen müssen vollständig und leserlich sein, sonst können wir sie (aus Ressourcengründen) leider nicht bearbeiten.

Kontaktiere deine*n Koordinator*in

Sende folgende Unterlagen an deine*n Koordinator*in:

  1. Datenschutzvereinbarung (unterzeichnet und gut leserlich)
  2. Deine Mobilnummer und deine private Email-Adresse (für die sichere Übermittlung des Passworts)
  3. Ggf. Nachweis Deiner Mitgliedschaft in einem Verein (wenn Du Dich nicht über unsere Website angemeldet hast)
5Koordinator*in prüft Voraussetzungen

Der/die Koordinator*in prüft, ob alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind und ob für Dich ein Backoffice-Eintrag vorhanden ist.
Falls nicht (oder falls nicht überprüfbar), führt er/sie Dich durch den Online-Prozess "Unterzeichnen" auf der Website (Du brauchst KEIN Benutzer-Konto erstellen!)..

6Koordinator*in beantragt GWÖ-Account

Der/die Koordinator*in sendet Deine Unterlagen weiter an IT-Support, um zu bestätigen

  1. Deine Anfrage an sich
  2. Deine Regionalgruppen- oder Akteur*innenkreis-Zugehörigkeit

Die Mitgliedschaft besteht

  • entweder mit Dir (bei Privatpersonen)

  • oder dem Unternehmen, für das Du die Ansprechperson bist

    Inhaber*in eines Accounts muss immer eine natürliche Person sein. Daher wird bei Unternehmen (mit aktivierter Mitgliedschaft - in SmartWe dokumentiert) der Account für eine (oder mehrere) Ansprechperson(en) des Unternehmens erstellt.

    Eine (zusätzliche) Mitgliedschaft der Ansprechperson(en) ist also nicht erforderlich. Voraussetzung ist jedoch die aktive Mitarbeit in der GWÖ (siehe weiter unten).

    Beendet ein Unternehmen die GWÖ-Mitgliedschaft oder verlässt der/die Account-Inhaber/in das Mitglieds-Unternehmen, wird der Account

    • entweder mit einer persönlichen Mitgliedschaft verbunden
    • oder deaktiviert

    (warning) Bitte beachten: Es gibt keine Ausnahmen von der Mitgliedschafts-Regel - auch nicht für Angestellte von GWÖ-Vereinen.

Wichtig: Die meisten Vereine bieten auch einen reduzierten Mitgliedschaftsbeitrag an.
Hier die Bedingungen einiger Vereine (für andere Vereine muss die Beitragshöhe direkt beim dort erfragt werden).

  • Du bringst dich aktiv in die Arbeit in der Bewegung ein, z.B. in einer Regionalgruppe oder einem AkteurInnenkreis (Hub)
  • In der Mitglieder-Datenbank SmartWe ist genau ein eindeutiger Eintrag zu deinem Namen und Geburtsdatum vorhanden
    (Prüfung/Nachtrag bei Bedarf durch die Mitgliedschafts-Betreuer*innen der jeweiligen Vereine)
  • Solltest du als Ansprechperson eines Mitgliedsunternehmens einen Account wünschen, so kannst du dich auf "Jetzt Unterzeichnen" eintragen. Es begründet keine neue Mitgliedschaft, erzeugt aber den Datenbank-Eintrag, der für den Account erforderlich ist.

    Wenn das Formular eine Fehler-Meldung ausgibt, dann ist:

    • entweder kein Datensatz mit dem von dir eingegebenen Vor- und Zuname in der Mitglieder-Datenbank SmartWe vorhanden
    • oder im Datensatz fehlt dein Geburtsdatum oder es stimmt nicht mit deinem Formulareintrag überein
    • oder es gibt mehrere Datensätze mit gleichem Namen/Geburtsdatum

    Bitte prüfe zunächst, ob dein Geburtsdatum korrekt im Antragsformular steht. Ist dies der Fall, so sende bitte ein Bildschirmfoto mit deinen Formulareingaben an den IT Support - what is the purpose of ECG IT services?.

    Sollte noch kein Eintrag für deine Person existieren, so benachrichtigen wir dich darüber und bieten für die Account-Einrichtung an:

    • du schreibst dich selbst in die Liste der "Unterzeichner*innen" ein (es entsteht dadurch keine eigenständige Mitgliedschaft und es wird keine Zahlungsverpflichtung ausgelöst!)

    Wie geht es weiter?

    Nach Antragseingang prüft das IT-Support-Team, ob die Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind und erstellt dann umgehend den Account wird oder du bekommst eine Nachricht wegen einer nicht erfüllten Voraussetzung.

    Du erhältst (in der Regel

    GWÖ-Account aktivieren

    Du erhältst (

    innerhalb weniger Tage) eine E-Mail (an Deine private Adresse) mit

    • der Anleitung zur Aktivierung Deines GWÖ-Accounts durch die Vergabe eines individuellen Passwortes
    • weiteren Einstiegs-Informationen

    (warning) Bitte aktiviere sehr bald, solange das temporäre Passwort noch gültig ist.

    (warning) Überprüfe auch Deinen Spam-Ordner in Deinem mail-Programm, ob die E-mail vielleicht dort gelandet ist.

    (warning) Für Unterstützung bei der Aktivierung wende dich bitte zuerst an Deine*n Koordinator*in oder ein erfahrenes GWÖ-Mitglied, ggf. an IT-Support.

    Ausnahmen

    In begründeten Ausnahmefällen kann ein GWÖ-Account auch an ein Nicht-Mitglied vergeben werden (z.B. für Aktive in Ländern ohne GWÖ-Verein, angestellte Mitarbeiter oder Menschen in Partner-Unternehmen).

    Solche Ausnahmefälle werden nur freigegeben von

    Warum bekomme ich keine Bestätigungs-E-Mail?

    Nachrichten - besonders, wenn sie mehrfach verschickt wurden - können im SPAM-Filter landen.
    Bitte die dort gesammelten Mails überprüfen und ggf. die Einstufung einer Mail (auf "kein Junk" oder "kein Bulk") zu korrigieren.

    Manueller Prozess

    Den früheren "manuellen Prozess" zur Account-Beantragung bieten wir nicht mehr an, da er zu arbeits-aufwändig und mit dem inzwischen etablierten und verbesserten Online-Prozess nicht mehr notwendig ist.

    Prerequisites

    In order to receive an ECG Account you have to:

    • be a member of an ECG legal body (eg. association) (

      see ecogood.org/en/get-involved/membership)contribute actively to the movement (see ecogood.org/en/get-involved/become-active-contributor)

      The membership should exist

      • either with you (personally)

      • or with your company/organisation, for which you are the contact person

        The owner of an ECG account must be a natural person (we do not set up accounts for businesses or organisations as such). Thus for a company or organisation the account will be set up for one or more of their contact persons.

        The person applying for the account does not have to be a member of an ECG association.

        If the contact person leaves the company/organisation, the account would be

        • either transferred to a personal membership account
        • or is discontinued

        (warning) Please note, that

    ECG-Accounts are only given to natural persons.
    If you have eg. one membership with you company and another one as a private person, then only the latter can get an ECG-Account.

    (warning) Please note: All documents have to be complete and readable. Otherwise, due to limited ressources, we cannot process your request.

    Read and sign the ECG Privacy Agreement

    Print, sign and scan the document. Please save it as a PDF file.

    4Contact your coordinator
    Send an email to the coordinator of your local chapter or hub containing
    1. the signed Privacy Agreement
    2. your private email address and mobile number (to transfer the passsword in a secure way)
    3. eventually proof of your Membership (if you have not applied via our Website)
    5The coordinator will check all prerequisites

    The coordinator will check all prerequisites and also if your Backoffice-record is available. Just if your data cannot be found in our database the coordinator will guide you through the "Become a supporter" process on our Website (you do NOT have to select "I want to create an user account"!)

    • there are no exceptions from this rule - also not for Employees of ECG associations

    Important: Most associations do offer a reduced membership fee.
    Here are the conditions of some associations (for other associations the amount of the fee must be requested directly from the association).

  • contribute actively to the movement, eg. in a Local Chapter or Hub
  • be listed in our membership database SmartWe with exactly one unique entry of your name and birthdate
  • if you are not yet listed in our SmartWe database, please sign up here as a supporter. This is not the same as signing up as a member. It only ensures that you are entered in our database.

    Did the submission of the form fail?

    If the form returns an error message there are one or more reasons:

    • there is no database entry with your first name and last name
    • the birthdate is missing in your database entry
    • there are several entries with the same names and birthdates

    Please check first if the birthdate in your account request form is correct. If yes, please send a screenshot with your entries in the form to IT - Support.

    If the database doesn't contain an entry with your data we will inform you and offer the following solution:

    • you sign in as a subscriber (the process does not create a legal membership and has financial obligations for you)

    • immediately after having sent the form you will be able to use the online process or account application
    • please send us an additional confirmation of your membership in a legal ECG association

    What happens next?

    The IT support team will check your application regarding membership in a legal association and your activity in the movement. You will receive a notification of the sucessful account setup or about additional requirements.

    Within a few days you should receive a mail (to your private mail address) with informations, how to activate your account.

    Why do i not receive the confirmation mail?

    It might have considered as SPAM (or junk or bulk) by your mail-provider.
    So please check your according SPAM folder and eventually correct the classification accordingly.

    6The coordinator will apply for your ECG Account

    The coordinator will forward your email to  Account-Administration to confirm:

    1. your request

    2. your participation in an ECG local chapter or hub

    If you are coordinator in a

    Activate your ECG Account

    Within a few days you should receive

    • instructions on how to activate your ECG Account
    • further onboarding information

    (warning) Please activate as soon as possible, otherwise the temporary password will expire.

    (warning) Also check your spam-folder for the corresponding e-mail.

    (warning) If you require support for the initial login or any other activity, please contact your coordinator or an experienced ecogood member. Our IT resources are limited and we are not able to handle all requests.

    8Confirm the activation

    Send a confirmation email to  Account-Administration and to your coordinator.

    This enables you to use our IT services, e.g. login to this wiki.

    Exceptions

    In certain cases an ECG account can also be provided to individuals who are not yet members of an ECG legal body
    (e.g. ECG activists living in countries where an ECG legal body does not yet exist, employees, people at partner organizations)     .
