Login-Problems in E-Mail-System

In Zimbra

Problems in E-Mail-Programm Zimbra may have various causes:

Problem: Passwort expired

Some mail accounts require (for security reasons) to set a new password after some months.

Problem:

Login is not possible

• Dein Browser zeigt Dir zwar irgendein Passwort an (diese runden schwarzen Punkte), aber Du bist Dir nicht sicher, dass es das richtige ist?
  → Dann lass sie Dir anzeigen - das findest Du überall im Netz (Your Browser shows you these black bullets, but you are not sure, if this is the correct password?

In a local Mail-Client

Wenn Du einen lokalen In a local Mail-Client (wie z.B. like Thunderbird, Outlook o..Ä.) installiert hast, können folgende Probleme auftretenthese issues can occur:

Problem:

Login is not possible

If you can not login,
→ try to login in Zimbra (see above)

Problem: Occasionally a Password-Dialog pops up

(Can look different per Mail-Client and type of problem)

Normally the reason is, that a service account's password is expired.
In this case see Das Passwort eines Service-Postfaches ändern.

In Sympa

Sympa is using the same username and password as Zimbra (see above).

Wenn Du Dich hier nicht mehr anmelden kannst,
→ dann versuche Dich in Zimbra anzumelden (siehe oben bei Login-Probleme)

Problem: Es kommt immer wieder so eine komische Meldung

Es kann sein, dass Du (nicht sofort nach dem Start, sondenr unregelmäßig/ab und zu) eine Meldung aufpoppt, dass irgendein Zugriff nicht geklappt hat.
(Das kann je nach Mail-Client und Problem unterschiedlich aussehen)

Dann ist meistens der Grund, dass ein Service-Postfächer ein Passwort abgelaufen ist und erneuert werden muss.

In Sympa

Sympa verwendet die gleichen Zugangsdaten - Benutzername und Passwort - wie Zimbra. Das Passwort wird in Zimbra verwaltet, wie oben beschrienben

Login Problems in Wiki

Problem: I can not login

• Enter only vorname.nachname:
