The Economy for the Common Good will be hosting its annual Delegates Assembly this year on June 3rd, July 1st and July 2nd. The event will be held in English and online. We are looking for simultaneous interpreters to help make this a truly global event.
We are so happy to see the growth and expansion of the ECG movement all over the world and have decided to enhance the possibilities of participation by arranging simultaneous interpretation of the main sessions of the Assembly in the languages in which our members communicate the most.
To make this possible, we are looking for interpreters of our main sessions on June 3rd (2 hours), July 1st (7 hours) and July 2nd (3 hours). We propose having two people for each language in order to reduce the work load.
We are hiring: 12 hours of interpretation (shared between two people)
2 candidates for English/Spanish
2 candidates for English/German
2 candidates for English/Italian
2 candidates for English/Portuguese
Committed members and supporters of the movement are priority candidates. Experience as interpreters is mandatory.
If you have experience in interpretation and willingness to help make the Delegates Assembly a successful event, then we will be happy to receive your application! If you are interested, please send an email to gus.hagelberg@ecogood.org by April 30 with information on your experience with interpretations and which language you would interpret. A formal application is not required.
